The 2008 election of a new Administration and Congress offers physician assistants the opportunity to work for changes to our country’s health care system. It will be difficult to resolve our economic troubles without also addressing the huge expenditures for health care and the lack of coverage for 46 million Americans. AAPA has contacted President Obama and promised to work on health care reform.
