Clinical Dialogues are engaging video-based webcasts that are combined with text-based eCase Challenges, designed to apply education into day-to-day clinical practice. This Biologic Bulletin examines how clinicians can utilize biologics to improve outcomes for their patients with psoriasis and highlights some common ways in which patient characteristics can be considered in tailoring treatment decisions. Developmental Disabilities


Patients with Developmental Disabilities: Keys to a Successful H & P
This program was created by the University of Kentucky Human Development Institute with the aid of a grant from the Kentucky Council on Developmental Disabilities. This online program offers dramatizations of two cases which were designed to improve the clinician’s comfort level and knowledge in working with patients who have developmental disabilities. The modules have been upgraded into FLASH for improved navigation and control. Users can also create their own password that will allow them to bookmark their place in the module and return to the exact location at a later time. Heads Up! Implicit Bias, Unconscious Stereotyping and Racial Disparities in Care
In November 2007, the AAPA Committee on Diversity launched "Heads Up!," an awareness campaign aimed at reducing racial and ethnic disparities in health care. After the conclusion of the campaign, the Committee on Diversity worked with AAPA to develop this CME module, with an assessment available at no charge to AAPA members on the AAPA website. Unified Health Communication 101: Addressing Health Literacy, Cultural Competency, and Limited English Proficiency
A program of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, this program includes five modules covering different aspects of health literacy.
